Dr. Ilias Iliadis

Dr. Ilias Iliadis received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering in 1983 from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, an M.S. degree in 1984 from Columbia University, New York, as a Fulbright Scholar, and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in 1988, also from Columbia University. He has been with the IBM Zurich Research Laboratory since 1988.

He was responsible for the performance evaluation of IBM's PRIZMA switch.

His research interests include performance evaluation, optimization and control of computer communication networks and storage systems, switch architectures, and stochastic systems.
